It’s been almost two weeks since the GKHAT Chat was last sent out. Since then, we’ve hasd the final zone race in Fernie, and the ski season is coming to an end at KHMR this weekend.
While things are still fresh (like freshies!) in your mind, we’re looking to get feedback on the 2018/19 GKHAT season. It’s not easy running an organization without feedback. While you may have provided verbal feedback throughout the season, this is the time to put it down and have a record. Please take the time to fill this survey out.

For the 2018/19 season, we implemented a few things from the survey results of 2017/18: We moved the AGM to Saturday, we started the Summer program, we continue to use the annual the online auction, we’ve incorporated more into the programming (e.g. ski cross), companies have sponsored the bibs resulting in increased funding, …

Don’t let a vocal minority drive you club. Be sure to participate and provide feedback. We appreciate it.

Hello GKHAT Families,

Big Big gratitude to all of the families who participated in our Nancy Greene Ski League Race yesterday! Thank you to the parents who spent the (cold) day on the ski hill and allowed our skiers to enjoy a fun day of racing events. Mother Nature did not make February easy, but with your help we pulled off a fabulous and fun Nancy Greene event. By all accounts, our timing system worked more smoothly and reliably than ever before, and the addition of the ski cross was big a hit. Thank you to everyone who stood shivering on one of the race courses and everyone who ensured the safe and fun travel of our kids around Catamount. Also, thank you to our athletes, whose smiles made all of the work worth the effort! Race times can be found in this document link.

Dual Ski-tacular and End of Season Banquet

Our focus and energy now moves to our final race event of the season, the Dual Ski-tacular and our end of season Banquet on Saturday March 16. Please visit this link to sign you and your skiers up for the ski-tacular, and this link to RSVP to the Banquet.
Between both events we need everyone’s help. Thank you in advance for sharing your time with the club and our kids one last time this season.

Team Jacket and Pants

Also as a reminder, the deadline to order GKHAT jackets or zip off pants for the 2019-2020 season is approaching. Please sign up on this link if you are interested in a jacket or ski pant for next season.

*Please note, Race day groups on March 16 will be the same as they were for the Nancy Greene Race. Here’s the document again.
