GKHAT 12+ Recreational Program

This program is developed for kids 12 years of age and up. The schedule for this program will be largely developed with the kids that enrol in the program. We want this to be a self -directed program to empower the kids in this age group. They will be encouraged to provide input towards their program and make it what they want. The idea is to have fun on and off the ski hill.

Our goal is to help teenagers develop as strong technical skiers on all terrain, as well as introduce ski coaching/instructing, race officiating and, most of all, continue to develop the passion for the lifelong sport of alpine skiing through a fun, safe program that fosters friendships, respect and other life skills. Kids will be encourage to explore the avenue of skiing that most interests them whether it be ski racing, skier cross, all mountain, coaching or a combination of them all. Most of all we want to keep these skiers having fun and continuing to challenge and improve their skills safely.
